Sr. Genevieve and Fr. Breen Celebrates.

On the Feast of the Presentation we had the joy of celebrating Sr. Genevieve's 60th Anniversary of Religious Profession and our Chaplain, Fr. Anthony Breen's 75th birthday.

Fr. Breen and Sr. Genevieve get ready to cut their cake.

Sr. Miriam, O.P. is all "dressed up" for the party!

No separating these two, today . . .

Sr. Mary Stephen is quite content to wait her turn.

Sr. Mary of the Trinity smiles for the camera.

Sr. Ritamae looks happy to say goodbye for now!

Sr. Gen chose to celebrate her anniversary privately with the Mass of the Presentation followed by a "party lunch" with the community and of course Fr. Breen. Sr. Gen, who will also celebrate her 91st birthday this year, continues to be a great source of inspiration and blessing to us and also to her family and friends who she still maintains correspondence with by telephone and "snail mail".

We wish sister many, many more years in God's call to loving service to others.

  1. Dear Sisters,

Please add our blog to your blogroll.

Folloing the great graces that flowed from the Year for Priests, we are proposing the observation of a Holy Year for Nuns and we're writing to the Holy See to suggest it. Please feel free to adopt the suggestion and to promote it:
